You've probably been managing for a long time.

Maybe well enough to keep going. Maybe longer than most people around you realize.

You've done the research, tried the coping strategies, kept it together at work and at home — and still, something isn't shifting. Not because you haven't tried hard enough. But because trying harder isn't the same as getting to the root of it.

That's what therapy at Théla is for.

We work with adults, couples, and teens navigating trauma, ADHD, anxiety, relationship difficulties, neurodivergence, and the kind of complexity that doesn't fit neatly into a single diagnosis. Our approach is trauma-informed, neurodivergent-affirming, and paced with your nervous system in mind — not a standardized protocol applied regardless of who you are.

We offer therapy in English, Mandarin (普通话), Cantonese (廣東話), and French — making Théla one of the most linguistically diverse psychotherapy practices in the Greater Toronto Area.

Substance Use Without Judgment

We understand that the relationship between substances and emotional pain is rarely simple. Whether you're questioning your use, in active recovery, or somewhere in between, you'll find clinical depth and genuine familiarity with this territory — not a checklist.

Affirming by Design

Théla is a neurodivergent-affirming, gender-affirming, and LGBTQ+-welcoming practice. This isn't a disclaimer — it's a design choice that shapes how we hire, how we train, and how every client is received from the first point of contact.

A Team, Not a Solo Practice

When you come to Théla, you have access to a clinic — not just one person. That means thoughtful matching, warm handoffs when needed, and a team that consults together so your care is never siloed. If your needs evolve, we can evolve with you.

Fees & Insurance

Individual therapy sessions range from $150–$200, and couples sessions from $220–$290, reflecting each clinician's experience and areas of specialization.

We may be able to direct bill many major extended health insurance providers — including Green Shield, Manulife, Sun Life, and more — so you're only responsible for any remaining balance after coverage is applied. EAP referrals are welcome. For those paying privately, detailed receipts are provided for reimbursement or tax purposes.

Cost shouldn't be the reason you go without support — our Affordable Therapy Program offers 12 free sessions with a supervised practicum student therapist, then $20/session.

Have questions about fees or coverage? Ask us during your free 15-minute consultation.

Not Sure Which Service Fits?

You don't need to diagnose the situation before reaching out. A free 15-minute consultation can help you figure out whether individual, couples, or family therapy is the right starting point — and which therapist is the right fit.
