Getting to know Lina

Therapy rooted in connection

Lina is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with experience supporting individuals and couples through trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, attachment concerns, and relationship challenges.

Her approach is integrative and emotionally attuned. Drawing from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), EMDR, mindfulness, and other evidence-informed approaches, she helps clients make sense of emotional experiences while strengthening their capacity for connection, self-understanding, and resilience.

Whether you are navigating a painful experience, feeling stuck in familiar relationship patterns, or hoping to develop a more compassionate relationship with yourself, Lina works collaboratively to explore what matters most to you.

What brings you to therapy?

There is room for what you are carrying.

You do not need to have the right words or a clear plan before reaching out. Therapy can begin with whatever feels most present.

Trauma & difficult experiences

Processing painful memories, persistent distress, or experiences that continue to affect how you feel and relate to others.

Anxiety & low mood

Understanding overwhelming emotions, self-critical thoughts, and patterns that make everyday life feel harder.

Attachment & relationships

Exploring emotional needs, trust, disconnection, and the ways earlier relationships shape current ones.

Couples communication

Recognizing recurring conflict cycles, making space for vulnerability, and rebuilding emotional responsiveness.

Grief & life transitions

Finding support through loss, change, uncertainty, and shifts in identity or belonging.

Emotional regulation & self-understanding

Developing skills to respond to intense feelings while cultivating self-compassion and a steadier sense of self.

How Lina works

Thoughtful, collaborative, and tailored to you

Different experiences call for different forms of support. Lina integrates approaches based on your needs and goals.

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)

Explores emotions and attachment needs beneath familiar patterns. In couples work, EFT helps partners recognize negative cycles and move toward greater understanding and connection.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)

A structured, trauma-focused approach that can support the processing of distressing memories and the beliefs and body responses connected to them. Readiness and stabilization are part of the process.

Mindfulness & somatic awareness

Brings gentle attention to present-moment experiences and bodily cues, helping clients notice and respond to emotional states with greater awareness.

CBT, DBT & psychodynamic perspectives

Offers practical tools for emotional regulation and coping while exploring the deeper experiences and patterns that shape thoughts, feelings, and relationships.

Couples therapy

Moving beyond the same argument

Often, what keeps a couple stuck is not simply the topic of disagreement, but the cycle they find themselves repeating.

Using an EFT-informed approach, Lina helps partners slow down difficult interactions, better understand the emotions and needs beneath their reactions, and practice responding to one another differently.

Couples therapy can provide space to work on communication, emotional closeness, recurring conflict, trust, and relationship transitions. The goal is not to decide who is right, but to understand what is happening between you and explore possibilities for repair.
